Overview

Tesla Powerwall and Home Battery Installation From a Local, Family-Owned Team

Home battery installation gives your house a way to keep running when the grid does not. A battery stores electricity, either from your solar panels or from the grid, and supplies your home when you need it, including during an outage.

JBEE Industries is a Tesla certified installer for the Tesla Powerwall, both paired with solar and as standalone battery backup with no solar at all. We are also the licensed electrician who checks your panel, so the battery, your electrical system and any future upgrades are planned together.

How It Works

What Home Battery Backup Does

A home battery backup system does two main jobs. When the power goes out, it keeps the essentials in your home running. If you have solar, it can also store the energy your panels produce during the day so you can use it in the evening instead of sending it all back to the grid.

Arizona homeowners have good reasons to think about both. Monsoon storms can knock out power in the middle of summer, and losing the A/C in triple-digit heat is more than an inconvenience. Grid demand also peaks on hot afternoons and evenings, which is when stored energy is most useful.

A battery is not a magic switch that runs everything forever. What it powers, and for how long, depends on the system and on which circuits are connected to it. That is why the planning step matters.

If you have ever sat through an outage wondering how long the food in your refrigerator will last, a battery is the piece that changes that. We help you decide how much of your home you want covered, and we are upfront about the tradeoffs.

Tesla Powerwall

Tesla Powerwall Installation From a Tesla Certified Installer

The Tesla Powerwall is a home battery that stores electricity and powers your home when the grid goes down. It can be charged by your solar panels, or it can be installed on its own as backup power for a home without solar.

JBEE Industries is Tesla certified, so your Powerwall is installed by a team trained on the system, not a general contractor learning as they go. We plan where it mounts, which circuits it backs up and how it connects to your panel, then walk you through how it works once it is running.

If you are comparing Powerwall installers in Mesa, ask whether the company is Tesla certified and whether it can also handle the electrical work around the battery. We do both.

Your Options

Solar Battery Backup vs. Standalone Battery Backup

Because JBEE Industries is Tesla certified for both, we can recommend what actually fits your home instead of steering you toward one setup.

Solar battery backup: a battery paired with solar panels. It suits homeowners who already have solar or plan to install it, and want to store their own energy and keep power on during an outage.
Standalone battery backup: a battery with no solar needed. It suits homeowners who mainly want protection from outages, and it can be a starting point if you may add solar later.
Adding to solar you already have: we can look at your existing system and tell you what is possible for your home.

Electrical Planning

Batteries, EV Charging and Your Electrical Panel

A battery connects to your home’s electrical system, so your panel matters. An older or crowded panel can limit what a battery is able to do. As a licensed electrical contractor, we can handle panel upgrades when a home needs more capacity, so you do not need one company for the battery and another for the electrical work.

Batteries also pair well with EV charging. If you drive an electric vehicle, or expect to, tell us during the consultation. We are a Tesla certified installer for EV chargers too, and we can plan the charger circuit, the battery and the panel together so you are not paying for electrical work twice.

The same goes for other plans, such as a heat pump or a solar expansion. It is simpler and usually less costly to design for what is coming than to rework the system later.

Clear plan and estimate: we explain the system we recommend and what it will and will not power
Installation: the battery and its wiring are installed by a licensed, bonded and insured team, and the work area is left clean

01Do you install the Tesla Powerwall?

Yes. JBEE Industries is a Tesla certified Powerwall installer in Mesa. We install it with solar or as standalone battery backup, and we handle the electrical work that goes with it, including panel upgrades when a home needs more capacity.

02Do I need solar to get a battery backup?

No. JBEE Industries is a Tesla certified installer for standalone battery backup, so a battery can be installed with no solar panels. If you add solar later, we can help you plan for it.

03Can you add a battery to my existing solar system?

Often that is worth a look. We can inspect your existing system and tell you what is possible for your home. We do not promise compatibility until we have seen what you have.

04What will a battery back up during an outage?

It depends on the system and on which circuits are chosen. During the load review we go through what matters most to you, such as the refrigerator, lights and internet, and explain what the battery is set up to power.

05Are you Tesla certified?

Yes. JBEE Industries is a Tesla certified installer for the Tesla Powerwall and for EV chargers, with or without solar. We are also Enphase certified for solar.

06Can a battery be planned together with an EV charger or a panel upgrade?

Yes. We are also your electrician, so we can size the panel, the charger circuit and the battery together. That way the electrical work is done once, not in stages.

07Do you offer financing?

Yes, financing options are available. Ask us during your free estimate and we will explain how it works for your project.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. JBee did a turnkey HVAC install. Every aspect went as promised. Low/high voltage electrical, ductwork, crane and roof install, wifi thermostat, all went like clockwork. And to a person, the crews (specialists in each area) were impressive. Arrived exactly when promised and stayed busy. I might also add their clean-up made it look as if they were never there. Highly reccomend
